FG Begins New N5,000 Payment – Commence The Registration | Online Portal – The Empowerment of Unemployed Youths in Nigeria will be assured to take care of by President Muhammadu Buhari Administrations as they have move to commence the consistent payment of 5,000 Naira Monthly Stipends to the poorest and the most vulnerable in Nigeria.
This is a good news as the payment will commence as from this moment of 2017 and it will be regulated by some prominent elected officials and planning committee.
The Registration | Online Portal – the portal for the official website is yet to be released and the method to be used for the payment of 5,000 Naria Monthly Stipends has not been officially released but currently, they are using Community Based Targeting (CBT) to pay.
We have been informed that the sequence for the payment of the money would be operationally managed by NIBBS, beneficiarly in Borno, Kwara and Bauchi States has also started receiving the money. For the registration of other states, the first batch to commence the CBT payments are Cross Rivers, Niger, Kogi, Oyo, Ogun & Ekiti States.

According to the vice president, the nine pilots state were chosen because they had an existing social register that successfully identified the most vulnerable and poorest Nigerian through a tried and tested community based targeting CBT method working with the World Bank.
He also pointed out that other state had already begun developing their social registers and would be included in subsequent phases of the CCT implementation.
2017 Payment Of 5,000 Naira By The FG – the Conditional Cash Transfer of the Federal Government would be mined from the social register, initially developed by eight states through a direct engagement with the World Bank. Those states are featured in the first batch, with the inclusion of Borno States where validated lists of IDPS were compiled in addition to the social register which is expected to go round the country.
