Jamb Update 2016 – Extension Of Result Validity In Jamb For 3 Years May Be Changed.

Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board have concord with the new policy and amendment by the Nigerian senate as they make a proposal of extension of validity of jamb result for 3 years. The mechanism for this carrying out this policy is to improve the management of the educational system and to make some profound amendment concerning the learning process in our educational management

The Nigerian senate wants to establish a balance system for candidates in financial expenditure as they make a rule in the amendment. The Senate strengthened the Board to allow the results of students in the annual examination be valid for more than one year.

The information reaching us based on the issue on ground was that JAMB result is expected to now be valid for more than a year.

Nigerian Senates Extends JAMB Result Validity to 3 Years

From our little observation, if there is more candidate that will not be admitted into the university, then there will be absolutely failure in the new policy concerning the validity of jamb result for three (3) years because candidate may also remain at hope without being admitted after three (3) years.

Getting this information right, According to the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Tertiary Education and TETFund, Senator Jibrin Barau the amendments will further strengthen the Admissions Board in its responsibilities.

Furthe more, Senate President Bukola Saraki, appreciated his distinguished colleagues for their work towards the passage of the bill commended that the new amendments will indeed bring financial relief to students as well as parents and reduce bottlenecks and corruption in the admission process.

The change will only take effects as from next year and candidates are encouraged not to panic because the new system will improve the education system in Nigerian universities.
