N-Power – Errors in BVN Delays Payments to N-Power Participants – 

The National Orientation Agency (NOA), said on Monday that the wrong Bank Verification Numbers (BVN) and account numbers provided use of N-power operation responsible for the delay in the payment of stipends.

Alhaji Mohammed Aliyu, NOA Coordinator in Niger, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Minna.

He said at the time of registration, the majority of the participants provided wrong bank details so that a delay payments.

According to him, the majority of the participants provided wrong bank account numbers BVNs was a difficult one for the Ministry of Finance Credit to them.

“It is not the fault of the federal government and that the majority of the beneficiaries are yet to receive the alert, guilty of the participants themselves.

“So far, for a month now, we are working on it and we hope in the next one week the problem will be forgiven and they will get paid,” he said.

Aliyu said that the 5,013 participants were short listed in the state and 4,198 are posted on the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Health and Education.

He added that, the Commission will monitor the use in different areas of the business to ensure they are working and working well.
