How to Apply for NNPC / Chevron Education Awards

Registered existing awardees question need not only refer to outline steps in the invitation email.

Unregistered existing awardees should apply using the steps below:

  1. Before you start the application, make sure you show scanned copies of these documents.
  • Passport gray with white no earlier than 3 months old (450px by 450px than 200kb)
  • School ID card
  • Admission letter
  • Birth certificate
  • Level results

  1. Make sure the documents are named according to what they represent to avoid mixing up documents during upload.
  2. Make sure you attach the appropriate documents when asked to upload.

‡ To apply, visit www.scholastica.ng/schemes/cnlawards and follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the “Apply Now” tab.
  2. Click on the “Register now” to create an account.
  3. Continue to your email box to activate your account
  4. Click on http://scholastica.ng/schemes/cnlawardsto back education site
  5. Enter your registered email and password to upload your information.
  6. Enter your personal information, National Identification Number (if available), educational information, certain information required to upload scanned documents.
  7. Make sure the name used by the application matches the names on all documents in this process. Upload a sworn affidavit or certificate if otherwise.
  8. Make sure you check all the documents are sent, to eliminate errors when uploading.
  9. When asked to upload a photo, upload permission-port variable with a white background.

  12. You will get an email and sms that confirmed the application was successful.
  13. Go back to www.scholastica.ng, enter your Email and Password to download your profile and keep to your Head of Department into the document.
  14. Upload a scanned copy of the signed profile, this will be used for verification.
  15. If the National Identification Number (Nin) number is not available in step 6, to obtain your National Identification Number (Nin)
  • A visit http://ninenrol.gov.ng to register and learn more about the National Identity Number
  • Click “Create Account” and fill in the required fields
  • Login Email Password to complete the form
  • Upon completion, schedule a day for photo and finger print capture
  • A visit to any of the 37 similar centers http://www.nimc.gov.ng/?q=nin-registration-centres to complete the registration process and get your National Identity Number
  • You can also have your total registered NIMC office
  1. Go back to http://www.scholastica.ng/schemes/cnlawardsand final application with the National Identification Number (Nin) to ensure complete.

Note: Multiple applications attract a disqualification penalty from the school board.

In line with the e-government scholarship system, selected students will be invited to the computer conducting preliminary tests at selected examination centers. Short-listed candidates for the qualifying test will be invited by email and SMS text messages. All claim are therefore advised to ensure that the GSM mobile telephone numbers and personal email addresses are well into e-forms on the web site.
