Registration for 2017 Cowbellpedia Qualifying Exams Is Now Open

THE search for the best students in the list of secondary schools in Nigeria has kicked off as the 2017 edition of Cowbellpedia Secondary School equation Questions TV show opened on Tuesday.

Speaking at a press conference in Lagos, Mr. Olivier Thiry, Managing Director of Promasidor Nigeria Limited, the sponsor of the initiative, said that although Cowbell involved in improving standard of education in Nigeria, especially in math in the last two decades, the company, including so, to all visitors under one umbrella, Cowbellpedia last year.

Entry into the competition

While entry into the competition is free, contestants are required to register online or pick up a registration form at the state Department of Education offices. The competition is divided into two stages: Stage 1 eligibility Written examination and Stage 2 TV Quiz Show. “For Stage 1, our development work we began in 2016 to Mixed Secondary Schools to introduce variable two girls for each category to represent the school. This is our little way to strengthen the girl child exploitation education, especially accelerated courses, “he said.

The ultimate prize for this year’s edition is one million naira (N1,000,000) and an all-expense paid educational tourism in the country, while the first and second run up will go home with seven hundred and fifty thousand Naira ( N750,000) only five hundred thousand naira (N500,000) only respectively. Successful teachers will be provided with N400, 000 while teachers first runner-up and second runner-up will go home with N300, 000 and N200, 000 respectively. Also speaking at the event, Dr. Ikechukwu Anyanwu, Director, Quality Assurance, National Examination Council, -neko, who represented the secretary commended Promasidor initiative has tremendous benefit for mathematics education in Nigeria.
